All geocaching events need volunteers to run. It is a fun way to help the event succeed, make new friends and get more out of geocaching.

Almost anyone can be a volunteer. Under 16's will need an adult to volunteer with them and take responsibility for them. Other than that, we are open to all offers to volunteer.

We will need several types of volunteer:

Long Term; these roles could be "Event Ambassadors, Committee helper (eg. shop manager, volunteer coordinator, etc) or one of many other roles.

Medium Term; Geocache Placement Team. The event will be placing a lot of geocaches before the event, some will be published for the weekend, some beforehand. We will need quite a few people to help out with this role to help make the event a success.

Short Term; these roles will mainly be at the event. You could be helping run a game or information table at the main event or setting up for a side event. You will not be asked to unblock a toilet!
